“Global Regulatory Pathways and Case Studies for Innovative Food Ingredients” – Guangzhou, November 27, 2025

From November 26 to 28, 2025, the “International Natural Extracts and Health Food Ingredients Exhibition 2025 and the 24th Autumn Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition (FIC-Health Expo 2025)” hosted by the China Food Additives & Ingredients Association will be held in Guangzhou.

During the exhibition, BYSEE will organize a special session titled “Global Regulatory Pathways and Case Studies for Innovative Food Ingredients” to share global regulatory pathways and case studies for innovative food ingredients. The session will provide in-depth analysis of global regulatory policies and precise submission strategies, helping companies develop one-stop multi-market regulatory submission plans during the new wave of global food ingredient innovation, achieving the widest market access with minimal cost and shortest time.

China’s food industry has seen continuous growth in innovation capabilities, gradually gaining international recognition. The international market landscape is changing: China is transitioning from “Made-in-China” manufacturing and follow-up production to innovation with proprietary intellectual property (IP), known as “Invented-in-China” food ingredients. This shift requires enhanced research capabilities and global regulatory expertise. Regulatory agencies such as FDA and EFSA, along with international organizations like the Natural Products Association, International Union of Food Science and Technology, and FoodDrinkEurope, continue to develop and update food safety assessment models, whose technical guidelines and decision-making frameworks hold de facto global influence.

The session will focus on how to build auditable toxicology, metabolism, and exposure data tailored to target market regulatory frameworks, economic conditions, and social context. By combining product process features and ingredient information, companies can engage with authorities in evidence-based submissions and technical exchanges to achieve rapid compliance and market access. The session will cover global differences in ingredient analysis depth, toxicology testing matrices, metabolism data, exposure assessment models, new ingredient submission procedures, external testing projects and validation, testing laboratory qualifications, and pre-approval for animal studies.
