China National Standard for Prepared Dishes, Public Consultation Open.

 

Jan 22nd, 2026, The State Council Food Safety Office and other departments will open public consultations on the national standards for prepared dishes and related documents.


In order to effectively safeguard consumers' legitimate rights and interests and promote the high-quality development of the industry, the State Council Food Safety Office has organized the National Health Commission, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and other departments to draft the National Food Safety Standard: Prepared Dishes and the Draft of Terminology and Classification for Prepared Dishes. In conjunction with the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Commerce, they have also drafted an announcement regarding the promotion of clearly indicating the food processing methods in the catering sector. These documents will soon be opened for public consultation.
