Indonesia BPOM Issues New Regulation on Food Recall and Destruction

On September 25, 2025, the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) officially issued the Regulation on Food Recall and Destruction (Peraturan Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan Nomor 22 Tahun 2025), which came into effect on July 28, 2025, repealing the previous 2017 regulation of the same name.
